Swiss artist Adrian Schiess has positioned several videos, spanning nearly two decades of work in this medium. All of the videos are abstract and many present monochromatic color fields that change hue at varying paces. The projectors create new and ever-shifting environment within a museum space often traveled by museum staff and patrons.
The two projectors each host the same sequel of videos. Adrian Schiess chose to begin the two looped reels at different points so that a viewer might encounter an unexpected range of color combinations, suggesting in his work “infinite” possible color arrangements.
