Patolu saris are among the most exquisite double ikat textiles in the world. The precision of the closely woven motifs sets these textiles apart from all others. During the ikat process great care and attention is give to minimizing the fuzziness of the edges. These luxurious saris are worn by wealthy brides and close female relatives during wedding ceremonies.
