John Henderson (1764-1843), a Bachelor of Civil Law, a skilled watercolorist and a neighbor of Dr. Monro's in the Adelphi Terrace, was similarly interested in Turner's work commissioning two views of Oxford University in 1794.

"Dr. Monro's house is like an Academy in an evening.  He has young men employed in tracing outlines made by his friends &c.-Henderson, Hearne &c. lend him their outlines for this purpose."
-Joseph Farington
