The field of this rug is composed of an overall lattice design filled with the Turkmen style gül pattern.

The major border also contains another popular and Turkmen-influenced pattern known as the "Turkmen line," popular with the Baluchi weavers.

Another popular pattern, "ocean wave," is depicted in the minor borders.
