This shawl, with an unusually large undecorated green field, was possible woven for export to Iran or Turkey. The borders consists of arches (mihrabs) containing alternating large and small botehs (paisleys). Three birds, possibly peacocks, are depicted within the arches that contain the large paisleys in the red field. The smaller arches, divided into three sections, contain cypress tress. The colored border tabs contain four woven bands, which is very unusual. All borders and the green field were woven separately and were later attached by a master seamstress.
