春秋山水図

Cherry blossoms bloom in the spring on the right screen, while crimson maple trees fill the autumn setting of the left. The artist has employed an abbreviated ink style that is more impressionistic than descriptive. This harmonizes well with the broad expanses of space-here in the form of luminous gold leaf-to create a misty, dream-like vision.
