Caroline Ella Burford and Henry Rose Danner were married on May 16, 1906, in the Burford mansion, located at 1330 N. Meridian Street in Indianapolis.
A detailed description of the dress was printed in the Indianapolis News:
"The bride wore an exquisite gown of white satin . . . . The satin was trimmed with purling of tulle, dotted with seed pearls . . . , and the long veil was caught with a diamond crown, holding a coronet of orange blossoms. The bridal bouquet was an arm cluster of valley lilies, tied with streamers of tulle, knotted with orange blossoms."
Caroline Buford Danner (Indianapolis); Carolyn Garrigues Scofield (granddaughter of Caroline Danner), Providence, Rhode Island; IMA December 19, 1986.
