I've got to check out these links. I saw a work at a contemporary art fair in Chicago that purported to be a plot of every trip that the artist had taken in the city over a period of time. Not sure if GPS was used for tracking or not.

What? Did someone say Psychogeography? How interesting.

How about a read of "Introduction to a Critique of Urban Geography"
By Guy-Ernest Debord
http://library.nothingness.org/articles/SI/en/display/2

Or "A New Way of Walking"
By Joseph Hart
http://www.utne.com/2004-07-01/a-new-way-of-walking.aspx

I wonder if my friend The Urbanophile has written much about Psychogeography in Indianapols, or has any thoughts on it.

There is probably a way to hook up a GPS system to computer so you can track your route and print it out.

I've found the G-maps Pedometer useful for drawing maps for running.
