And I must agree that shopping in Singapore should be an Olympic sport...we are staying in the Orchard Road area which is seemingly the haute couture heart of Singapore shopping.

		<description>I have made a couple of trips to Singapore in my life. Both involved greater than 24 hour door to door journeys.  It&#039;s certainly far.  Luckily, I managed to stay at the Raffles once, which is an awesome hotel.  Singapore can be a little dull - unless you like shopping that is. That seems to be the national pastime.</description>
