I really enjoyed reading Katie Neville's blog entry. She has described a beautiful experience in a way that others can share her memory. Katie fully explained the experience from beginning to end, top to bottom in a way that makes the reader want to go and take part( or piece). Katie should be the next IMA blogger.

Very nice! I was impressed at the capable mind of Katie, how she was able to suck me into the experience with her and make me feel like I was in that same gallery. I could taste the lemon, I could see the pile, and I could understand the meaning behind the installation.

Katie definitely gets my pick for the contest.

As an Art Institute blogger, it's so nice to see our museum made for such an inspiring day! Art can do that.. I also love Felix with a love of the simplicity of the 24 light bulbs in "Untitled" (Last Light), 1993

If you, or other readers, want to learn more about the artwork in your post:
http://www.artic.edu/aic/collections/artwork/152961

Or some of our other Gonzalez-Torres works in our collection:

Enjoy!

Torres work seems to make a real connection between the artist's personal feelings and the public at least for those you take the time to participate.
