You should also approach the day with uncertainty and curiosity as to what this ‘Conficker‘ worm is up to (as mentioned by Phil yesterday). What a horrible name by the way… it sounds like a curse word or something. Maybe it’s just me.

The good news is, if you can figure out who the culprit is, you get yourself $250,000 in cash! And we all could use that cash right about now.

It seems nobody is certain what will happen, but that something will happen. I wouldn’t be completely surprised if nothing happens though. Remember Y2K? What an anti-climactic moment that was (thankfully). The good news for the IMA is our IT posse has been training for this bout for weeks now. I’ve been assured by Yvel we’ve got our machines ready for what may ensue. Below is an inside look at our McAfee stats for our machines machines he shared with me (shh… don’t tell):

15 Major Brands Rebrand – What is it about a Global Economic Downturn (GED) that causes a flurry of rebranding? I could be wrong but I would guess that Ford isn’t going to suddenly see a major shift in sales because they’ve decided to drop “ord” from their mark. However, maybe dropping the “ord” is simply a clever cost saving measure. More on Ford here.
