Grease (PG 1978)
Directed by Randal Kleiser, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John
Running Time: 110 mins.
Young Travolta’s dazzling strut is in full swing and the pop music fizzes over in this endearing summery classic. The story of a greaser and a good girl comes off in a carnival of colorful costumes, frisky choreography, giddy nostalgia—and plenty of camp. Among many tunes, Aussie crooner Olivia Newton-John sings the Oscar-nominated song "Hopelessly Devoted to You." Costumes welcome.
Preceded by the cartoon: For Scent-immental Reasons, with Pepe LePew
