On Saturdays, May 24 and 31, students in this class will visit the African art gallery and Hats of Africa to see how skilled artists have used multiple materials to fashion hats used throughout the continent of Africa. Following a gallery visit, the class will make their way back to the art labs to design simple hats from a variety of materials.
