The Architecture of Nature: A Talk by Maya Lin
In the fall of 2007, the IMA unveiled Above and Below—a commissioned installation by Maya Lin, on the Fortune Balcony of the Asian art galleries, inspired by the complex structure of underground White River tributaries in south central Indiana. Emerging on the international scene with her design of the Vietnam War Memorial in 1982, Lin’s work has always hovered at the intersection of art, nature and architecture. Join the artist Maya Lin for a talk in the Deer Zink Pavilion.
