Wishard Hospital is home to more than state-of-the-art healthcare. In 1914 Indiana’s leading artists worked together to create murals that would lift the spirits of the patients at City (now Wishard) Hospital. Hear Dean Craig Brater of the IU School of Medicine, Dr. Larry Cripe, oncologist at the IU Simon Cancer Center, and cancer survivor Jan Lucas-Grimm discuss how art facilitates healing by engaging an emotional response which can relieve stress and re-focus the mind.
