Appropriate for ages 8 - 10

Create and excavate! Visit with the IMA’s very own Conservation Scientist, Dr. Gregory Smith. Learn about his most recent archaeology dig in Egypt. Build large clay fossils, produce pottery and other artifacts, design cave paintings, and much more.

8:45 – 9 am: Drop off
9 am – noon: Art making, special guest visits, and outdoor activities
Noon – 1 pm: Lunch
1 – 4 pm: Art making and gallery visits
4 pm : Pick up
