Théo van Rysselberghe (Belgian, 1862–1926), Three Children in Blue (The Three Guinotte Girls), 1901
Private collection.

Join colleagues as we examine our own ideas about the "Image of the Child" and the "Image of the Teacher" in early childhood settings. This half-day workshop is inspired by the work of practitioners of the Reggio Approach. During the workshop, we will visit the featured exhibition Face to Face: Then Neo-Impressionist Portrait, 1886-1904, and practice several in-gallery and in-studio techniques. Participants will also explore a variety of media that are developmentally appropriate for children ages 3 through third grade. Workshop attendees earn 4 Professional Growth Plan points.

Space is limited, early registration is recommended. The first five registered will receive a bag of teacher goodies. To register please email Heidi at hdavis-soylu@imamuseum.org.
