嵐吉三郎 in the role of Iwagawa Jirōkichi 岩川次郎吉
A popular kabuki drama featured a match between the sumō wrestlers Jirōkichi and Tetsugadake. To help his patron raise needed funds, Jirōkichi agrees to throw the match for money. During the match a voice rings out that the money has been raised elsewhere. Now free to do so, Jirōkichi defeats Tetsugadake and preserves his honor.
