Dior's extravagant use of luxurious fabrics, his immaculate workmanship, and his innovative designs provided women with clothes that were glamorous.
This dress has a boned, fitted bodice and a full skirt gathered at the waist and executed in many layers. Dior incorporated horsehair braid and silk net as interlinings to give the skirt a voluminous look. The dress is decorated with seven beige roses. The coat has set-in, three-quarter-length sleeves trimmed with silk satin ribbon.
