Artist's signature: Ichiyūsai Kuniyoshi ga, accompanied by toshidama seal. Publisher's mark: Ehiko Inscription: poem, followed by an explanation: (asaborake tae-dae ni, araware wataru, sese no ajirogi). As dawn lightens the pilings of the fishtrap gradually become more visible through the mist on the Uji River. The poem appears in the Senzaishū. Fujiwara Sadayori , 995-1045, was the eldest son of Fujiwara Kinto.
