This bag, which is an excellent example of a rare type, has an unusual combination of field and border motifs.
The hooked flower (gül) motif with a diamond center appears mostly on rugs and rarely on bags. The main border contains a chain of concentric serrated diamonds, surrounded by two narrow borders composed of chain-linked smaller diamonds.
