“In these recent prints . . . I combine a variety of techniques and materials. I often use copper, zinc, cardboard, and plastics within a single print. As each material has its own particular character in printing, they function together to contribute an added ambiguity and richness to the image. The depth of the relief and the fact that often two or even three plates are superimposed cause the prints to be heavily embossed.”
Gabor Peterdi, 1966
