Job, a most prosperous and righteous man in the land of Uz, sits peaceably surrounded by his wife, seven sons, three daughters and extensive flocks.  He reads from Scripture and conducts his seemingly impeccable life according to the letter of the law.  However, musical instruments, indicative of "inspired and spontaneous praise," hang silent in the tree, and the sun is setting behind a Gothic cathedral, symbolic of "the true faith."
