Star Studio (Grades K - 12)
Star Studio combines two exciting experiences—interacting with art and creating it—into one amazing space. Students will tour the exhibition, hear about the artist and then create their own work of art inspired by the exhibition. Star Studio exhibitions and hands-on activities change twice a year but always include an engaging exhibition and creative art-making activities.

Sketching in the Galleries (Grades 3-12)
Further enrich your IMA visit by spending some time in the galleries sketching. School groups using graphite pencil (colored pencils are not allowed in the galleries) are welcome to sketch in the Museum's galleries. All materials must be provided by the school. The IMA cannot provide materials or instruction for Sketching in the Galleries. There is no fee for this program.
Please note on your online tour request form that you would like for your students to sketch in the galleries.
Classes wishing to use easels or wet materials should contact the School Services Specialist at schooltours@imamuseum.org at least 30 days in advance for guidelines.
