Events & Programs

The IMA aims to raise the level of cultural dialogue in Indianapolis through the presentation of fresh, adventurous programming. Programs for students, teachers, and the public are thoughtfully selected to pique visitor curiosity and to broaden understanding of and interaction with the arts, creativity, and the world of ideas. Programs include quality presenters, films and instructors and feature thought-provoking content for visitors with varying experience levels and cultural perspectives.

Home to the "best screening room" in Indianapolis, the IMA hosts films and film festivals throughout the year.
