Gallery Tours
Free guided tours of the IMA's collections are offered daily. Meet on Floor 2 to the right of the Welcome Desk. Please check the calendar for specific dates and times, or download this month's schedule below.
Gallery Tours for Families
30 minute tours for children of all ages are offered on the second and fourth Saturday each month at 1:30 & 2:30 pm. View the topics for upcoming months. Tours meet near the Welcome Desk on Floor 2.
Garden Tours
Free guided garden tours are offered Saturdays and Sundays at 1 pm, from the beginning of April through the end of October. Weather permitting. Tours meet at the main visitor entrance to Lilly House.
The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park: 100 Acres Tours
Free tours are offered Saturdays at Noon, from the beginning of April through the end of October. Weather permitting. Tours meet at Lake Terrace.
Oldfields – Lilly House Tours
Lilly House tours are offered every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm, April through December. Join a docent in the Lilly House lobby for a guided tour of this American County Place Era home of the late Indianapolis businessman, philanthropist, and collector J.K. Lilly, Jr. The house with eight historic furnished interiors reflecting the early 1930s, is the centerpiece of Oldfields, a 26-acre National Historic Landmark estate with a landscape and gardens designed by Olmsted Brothers.
