Henry Rankin Poore, born in Newark, NJ and was a student in the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. Mr. Poore is the author of, "Pictorial Composition and the Critical Judgment of Pictures," 1903 and was formerly an instructor in composition in the school of the Pennsylvania Academy. This exhibit consists of 35 paintings all of which were available for sale. Registration notes state that exhibit ended: 02/29/1911
