Orson Lowell, well-known illustrator, whose work of late years has appeared almost exclusively in "Life." Pen and ink drawings or cartoons, from which were made the reproductions that appeared in the magazines. Accompanying several of the larger cartoons are the pencil sketches in which the artist first worked out his ideas.
