Paintings by Leopold Seyffert, Karl Anderson, Ernest Lawson, and Havley Lever
Exhibition - John Herron Art Institute
Anderson's delicate color harmonies in his almost mural and Japanese treatments of women and children possess great charm. Lawson's works are interpretations of New York and its environs, Seyffert paints Dutch peasants with rich, full stroke and full, generous colors, and Lever paints English fishing towns.
