Special Exhibition of Paintings by William Henry Lippincott
William Henry Lippincott was born in Philadelphia in 1849. He studied at the school of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia, and under Bonnat in Paris. He was awarded an honorable mention at the Pan American Exposition, Buffalo, 1901, and a bronze medal at the Universal Exposition, St. Louise, 1904. He is a member of the National Academy of Design, 1897; American Water Color Society; Society of American Etchers, and the Century Club, New York.
