European Design Since 1985: Shaping the New Century
March 8-June 21, 2009
Indianapolis Museum of Art

The Wall Street Journal called the exhibition "a tour de force".

Organized by the IMA in cooperation with the Denver Art Museum and Kingston University, London, this exhibition redefined two recent major movements—Modernism and Postmodernism—which have not only shaped design in Europe but have also had a profound impact worldwide. The exhibition included 250 works of furniture, glass, ceramics, metalwork and more, created by some of the most influential artists of our time. read more
