Alfredo Häberli

Alfredo Häberli’s work, which includes ceramics, furniture, glass, and product design, has been made for such clients as Alias, Camper, Iittala, Kvadrat, and Luceplan. In 1991, he won the Diploma Prize at the Höhere Schule für Gestaltung, an SID (Swiss Industrial Designer) Prize, and an IKEA Foundation grant. This was followed by an Achievement Prize from the Hochschule für Gestaltung, Zurich (awarded in 1994); a Carte Blanche grant from the VIA (French Furniture Association; 1998); and the Designer of the Year award at Now! Design à Vivre, Paris (2004). Other awards include the Design Preis Schweiz (2005), and Guest of Honor at the 20th Biennale Interieur, Kortrijk, Belgium (2006).
