Hareide Designmill

A Norwegian company founded in 2000 by Einar Hareide (b. 1959, Norway). Its work includes automotive design, design strategy, and product design, for such clients as ABB, Brose, Electrolux, Ericsson, IKEA, Helle Fabrikker, Jordan, Startloop AS, and Volvo. The company has won several awards for its designs, including the Award for Design Excellence in 2001, for Soom, and in 2002, for Startloop, Vikingstop, AutoSock, Ur, and the Microfiber cloth; Microfiber also received the Worldstar and Scanstar awards in 2002. Other products to be given the Award for Design Excellence include Joystick (in 2003), Maneuvering Handle (2004), Knife (2004), and Protective Footwear (2005). In 2007, the company received the Red Dot: Best of the Best award for its wood-burning stove
