Herzog & de Meuron

Swiss architecture and design partnership founded in 1978 by Jacques Herzog (b. 1950; Switzerland) and Pierre de Meuron (b. 1950, Switzerland). The practice is currently led by ten partners: Christine Binswanger, de Meuron, Harry Gugger, Wolfgang Hardt, Herzog, Robert Hösl, David Koch, Stefan Marbach, Ascan Mergenthaler, and Markus Widmer. Its work includes architecture and product design, for such clients as Artemide; the de Young Museum, San Francisco; the Miami Art Museum; the Parish Art Museum, New York; Tate Modern, London; and the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis.
