Konstantin Grcic

Konstantin Grcic’s work in ceramics, furniture, glass, installations, and product design has been for a variety of clients, including Agape, Authentics, Cappellini, ClassiCon, Cor Unum, Driade, FLOS, Iittala, Krups, Magis, Moroso, and Serafino Zani. He is currently working on projects with BASF, Herzog & de Meuron, and Plank.

Grcic has received numerous awards, including the Premio Compasso d’Oro ADI, for the Mayday lamp (awarded in 2001); Red Dot Design awards, for the Chaos side chair (2001), the Tip pedal-bin (2002), and the Diana tables (2002); the iF Product Design Award, for Chaos and Diana (2002); the Design Plus award, for Tip (2004); and the hicago Athenaeum Good Design Award, for chair_One (2004). Other awards include the Blueprint Award: Best Interior Product, 100% Design London Awards, for the Miura bar stool (2005); the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany, Silver, for chair_One (2006); the iF Gold Award, for Miura (2006); the Interior Innovation Award, IMM Cologne, for Miura (2006); the Red Dot: Best of the Best award (2006); and the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany, Silver, for Miura (2007).
