Michele De Lucchi

Michele De Lucchi’s designs range from architecture and interior design to ceramics, furniture, glass, and product design. His clients include Artemide, Olivetti, and Produzione Privata. He was awarded the Premio Compasso d’Oro ADI in 1987, 1989 (for the Tolomeo table, floor, and wall lamp), 1991, 1994, and 2001 (for the Artjet 10 printer). In 2000, he received the iF Product Design Award. His other awards include Design Plus awards, for the Dioscuri wall and ceiling lamp (awarded in 2000), and for the Castore table, floor, and suspension lamp and the Logico mini suspension lamp (2004); the Designpreis der Bundesrepublik, for the Palme outdoor light (2001); Observeur du Design from the APCI (Agency for the Promotion and Creation of Industrial Design), for the Tolomeo micro lamp (2001); and Red Dot Design awards, for the Logico table, floor, and suspension lamp (2002), the Tolomeo mega floor lamp (2003), and the Castore table, floor, and suspension lamp (2004).
