Ole Jensen

Ole Jensen

Ole Jensen is a ceramics, glass, and product designer, whose clients include Normann Copenhagen and Royal Copenhagen. Jensen has been honored with several awards, including, in 1996, the Design Prize of the Design Foundation, Denmark, and, in 1997, the Kay Bojesen Memorial Grant. In 1998, he received a three-year work bursary from the Danish Arts Foundation, and the Design Plus award for his Ole porcelain service. Other awards include the Design Plus award for Washing-up Bowl and Brush (received in 2002); the Thorvald Bindesbøll Medal of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (2004); the Design Plus award for Jensen Bowl (2005); the Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize (2006); the Red Dot Design Award for Familia dinnerware (2007); and the iF Product Design Award, also for Familia (2008).
