A Finnish company founded in 1981. Its founder was Hannu Kähönen (b. 1948, Finland; creadesign.com). The company’s work includes product design for such clients as Abloy Oy, Benefon Oyj, and Neste Oy. In 2000, it was awarded a jubilee medal on the occasion of Helsinki’s 450th anniversary; and in 2001, it received the Pro Finlandia medal from the Finnish government. Other awards include an Honorable Mention at Finndesignnow-02, Design Forum Finland, 2002; a Special Diploma granted by the World Cultural Council, 2003; a Focus Know-how silver at the Baden-Württemberg International Design Awards, 2005; and the iF Product Design Award, 2007.
