Dögg Gudmundsdóttir
Dögg Gudmundsdóttir’s work includes furniture, glass, installations, metalwork, and product design. As well as working for such companies as Christofle, B-Sweden, and Ligne Roset, she produces her own designs at Dögg Design. In 2001, her work was recognized in the Knokke-Heist design competition, Belgium. In 2002, she was awarded the Light of the Future Award at Light + Building, Frankfurt, and was nominated for DV newspaper’s culture prize. More recently, in 2006, she was nominated in the Orkuveita Reykjavikur design competition, Iceland, for her Cod lamp.
