Olavi Lindén’s work includes product design, for such clients as Fiskars, for whom he has made garden tools; he has also constructed stringed musical instruments. In 2002, he was awarded the Finnish State Prize for Crafts and Design; in 2005, he was named Finland’s Designer of the Year. He received the Kaj Franck Design Prize in 2006.
