Each month drop by the Star Studio Classroom to find new art-making projects inspired by works of art on view at the IMA. Projects are designed to be accessible and fun for museum visitors of all ages and all levels of art-making experience.

Celebrate summer! Use a foam pool noodle as a printmaking tool to create a colorful repeating pattern work of art.
July / Can You Repeat That?
Play with clay! Construct a geometric sculpture by repeating your favorite shape. Then visit the special exhibition, Ai Weiwei According to What?, to see examples of sculpture and repetition.

Choose your own adventure. Write and illustrate a new ending for the popular children’s book, If, by author Sarah Perry.
