A witty commentary on the American family, Father of the Bride features an Oscar-nominated performance by Spencer Tracy as Stanley, the befuddled father reluctant to lose his daughter--the ravishing Elizabeth Taylor--to marriage. Stanley gets caught up in the barely controlled pre-wedding mayhem. Pre-altar jitters and a lot of grumpy comedy fills this Heartland Truly Moving Picture Award winner.

Father of the Bride is screening as part of The National Bank of Indianapolis 2012 Summer Nights Film Series.
