The timeless story of a would-be nun who falls for a captain and his seven singing children includes the Rodgers & Hammerstein tunes "Climb Every Mountain," "Do-Re-Mi," and "My Favorite Things." Based on the true story of the VonTrapp family, this winner of five Academy Awards, and a Heartland Truly Moving Picture Award, is an undisputed classic American musical.

The Sound of Music is screening as part of The National Bank of Indianapolis 2012 Summer Nights Film Series.
