Homeschool Special Exhibition Tours

Three times a year the IMA hosts special exhibitions which explore a variety of art from around the world and throughout history. Because these exhibitions provide a rich opportunity for educators and students to build on what they are learning in the classroom, the IMA provides scheduled school groups with free admission to these exhibitions.

Guidelines

• Special exhibition is FREE; school groups should schedule at least 3 weeks in advance.
• Entry to all special exhibitions is subject to capacity restrictions.
• To schedule a guided tour, a homeschool group must have a minimum of 10 students.
• For all tours (guided and self guided) a minimum of 1 adult chaperone for every 10 students is required.
• For all tours (guided and self guided) a maximum of 1 adult per student is admitted free of charge to the exhibition. Additional adults must purchase an exhibition ticket upon arrival.
