Sketching in the Galleries (Grades 3-12)
Further enrich your IMA visit by spending time in the galleries sketching. School groups using graphite pencil (colored pencils are not allowed in the galleries) are welcome to sketch in the Museum's galleries. All materials must be provided by the school. The IMA cannot provide materials or instruction for Sketching in the Galleries. There is no fee for this program. Please note on your online school tour request form that you would like for your students to sketch in the galleries. Classes wishing to use easels or wet materials should contact the Senior Coordinator of School Services at least 30 days in advance for guidelines.
