Sacred Spain: Art and Belief in the Spanish World and our Annual Educator’s Sneak Peek
From 4:00-7:00pm on Thursday, October 8, please join us for our annual Educator’s Sneak Peek—an opportunity for you and your colleagues to be among the first visitors to our Sacred Spain: Art and Belief in the Spanish World exhibition, before it officially opens to the public on October 11, 2009. Though we warmly extend the invitation to educators from all backgrounds, grade levels, and disciplines to attend the Sneak Peek, we especially encourage you to include your colleagues who teach Spanish, ESL/ELL, theology or religion, European history, and (of course) art, as this show may be of particular relevance in these subject areas. Bring your calendars, as our staff will be available to help book tours for your students on the spot. Enjoy a tour of the exhibition, a talk given by one of the exhibition curators, hands-on activities and resources you can bring back to your classroom, along with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Contact the IMA’s Senior Coordinator of School Services to RSVP by October 1, 2009.
