In 2010, IMA Lab worked with the Atlanta History Center to build an interactive war map kiosk for an exhibition entitled “War In Our Backyards.” The Atlanta History Center gathered an immense amount of data about the civil war battles in the Atlanta area, and wanted to show visitors where battles happened in relation to contemporary landmarks. IMA Lab built a map interface available on both a series of touch screen kiosks and a large version of the map that would be projected from the ceiling onto a table in the middle of the exhibit.

AAMD Object Registry

In 2008 and 2009 the IMA worked with the American Association of Art Museum Directors to develop the AAMD Object Registry – a repository for museums to register archaeological materials from their collections with incomplete provenance details, or works with resolved Nazi-Era Provenance claims.

The IMA worked closely with staff from the AAMD to carefully craft the content and functionality of the site to be approved by the membership of the association.
