The Essential Robert Indiana
Using material drawn from extensive interviews with the artist The Essential Robert Indiana explores the stories behind many of Indiana’s most iconic works. Premiering in the state whose name he adopted as his own, the exhibition is the first print retrospective of the artist in over 40 years, featuring more than 50 works from the IMA's own collection.
Universe Is Flux: The Art of Tawara Yusaku
The Indianapolis Museum of Art presents Universe Is Flux: The Art of Tawara Yusaku, the first major exhibition of the works of an outstanding contemporary Japanese artist. The exhibition will feature 77 works on paper, including framed works and those mounted as traditional hanging scrolls.
