Through a partnership with St. Mary’s Child Center, the IMA offers an on-campus preschool for children ages 3-5.
Anchored in Reggio Emilia inspired teaching, daily the children experience original works of art in our galleries, explore our gardens and historic Lilly House, and work on projects inspired by their environment.
St. Mary’s Child Center at IMA is a half-day preschool that offers a five day program, three day program, or two day program from 9 - 11:30 am for the school year. The low child to adult ratio (6:1), provides personal attention to ensure optimal social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of the child.Support for the St. Mary’s Child Center at the Indianapolis Museum of Art is provided by The Indianapolis Foundation, a CICF affiliate, and The Jerry L. Burris and Barbara J. Burris Foundation.
