Pundit Nayan Ghosh is acclaimed as one of India’s finest players of the sitar (a stringed instrument); his father and guru was the internationally renowned tabla (percussion) maestro Padmabhushan Pundit Nikhil Ghosh. Nayan’s sitar recitals sparkle with enchanting melodies and rich aesthetic delineations, bringing out the depth and the true spirit of the raga (melody). For this concert, he will be accompanied by Ishaan Ghosh on the tabla. Since 1974, Nayan has presented concerts and lectures in Europe, U.K., North America, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Morocco. Presented by the Indian Association of Indiana Fine Arts Committee with support from the IMA Asian Art Society.

ICMCI and Asian Art Society members may pick up free tickets at the IMA with proof of membership.
